Liverpool know exactly what they need this summer and it appears as though they will go all-out to get it.
The Reds have had a much more unusual transfer window to usual and not only are they signing players, but they are buying some of the biggest names too.
Florian Wirtz is the pick of the bunch after breaking the British transfer record to get him through the door at Anfield, with their £116m expenditure on him alone leaving many to assume that their business has now concluded.
However, this is not the case and the Reds have been straight back in the market to assess potential options, with Marc Guehi a name that keeps cropping up.
Liverpool have wanted a centre-back for quite some time and it looks like they will get one this summer, but there are also two other positions that they are looking to fill alongside their attempts to sign the Englishman.

The Reds have not exactly been very secretive about who they want to sign over the last few months, a much different tactic to the one they usually deploy.
Perhaps this is for a reason but nobody is too sure, although one thing that is apparent is that it is working as they have signed three elite players so far despite them all being so public.
Now, they continue with the same approach, as Sky Sports journalist Florian Plettenberg has revealed that Liverpool are in the market for not just a striker, but also a ‘top-quality winger’, preferably to play on the left.

He goes on to say that the Merseyside club have been closely monitoring the market for this position, suggesting that, as many would come to expect from Liverpool by now, any signing would have been carefully planned out.
This news comes somewhat as a surprise due to the fact Arne Slot has two quality options at his disposal in the form of Cody Gakpo and Luis Diaz, although this would suggest that the latter is allowed to depart this summer.
A striker, however, is not a shock to anyone as this is a position they have also wanted for a while, with Alexander Isak their ‘dream’ target.
Either way, it suggests as many as three new players could still arrive by the time the transfer window slams shut, with Guehi potentially the first in a flurry of incomings.
As most would imagine, Liverpool will only sign a new winger for the left flank if Diaz departs, something that seems likely as Al Nassr are reportedly willing to spend £73m to sign him.
As a 28-year-old with two years left on his contract, it would be silly for the Reds to turn that kind of offer down, especially as they would have more than doubled their money on him.
However, finding a replacement for him is the trickiest task of them all, as out of all the options on the market, Diaz is, arguably, the best of them all.
Rafael Leao, Nico Williams and Bradley Barcola could be available this summer, but the Reds would face stiff competition for their signatures and likely have to spend more than they will sell the Colombian for.
Anthony Gordon is another winger that Liverpool have long-standing interest in, although he, again, would cost closer to the £100m mark and a move for him could scupper any slim chance they have of getting Isak.
It is certainly a hard area to navigate this summer but as Reds fans have come to realise, Richard Hughes clearly knows what he is doing so they will just have to be patient and put their full trust into him.
